The Castroviejo Capsule Forcep offers a wide array of surgical advantages for ophthalmic surgeons. These advantages have major importance during certain cataract surgeries.

To this end, the instrument features a pair of cup-shaped jaws supplied with a smooth working surface. Moreover, surgeons can use the jaws to clamp the desired portion of the capsule. After that, they can retract the tissue for its further removal and set the conditions for IOL implantation.
