The McGivney Hemorrhoidal Ligator offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to encircle haemorrhoids using o-rings to prevent blood loss during haemorrhoidectomy.

For this purpose, the instrument features an elongated, straight tube that helps to reach deep surgical targets. In addition, the tube’s perpendicular angle to the handle allows for enhances sightlines. Also, the 12.0mm charging cone, in conjunction with the spring-loaded system, permits to place o-rings with safety.
