The Wound Spreader offers a broad range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to spread the margins of wounds to expose the operative field.

For this purpose, the instrument features 4 x 4 curved prongs, which are useful to enhance surgical sightlines. In addition, the prongs are available in blunt and sharp patterns to traverse soft and heavy tissues.

Moreover, the Wound Spreader features a cross-action spring handle. As a result, surgeons can tighten the handle to open the tips and separate the wound edges. Also, the device has a small ratchet bar to self-lock the prongs at certain widths.

Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality instruments in your operating rooms.
