The Polloson Retractor offers a lot of benefits to the surgeon. A good part of these benefits come from its particular design.
Firstly, the shaft has a flat outline and inmediately extends into a deep concave curve to form the blade. After the curve, the blade is straight and features other two small curves that helps surgeons in forcible retractions.
In addition, the handle can be hollow or fenestrated, according to the tool’s model. Also, both types have an anterior projection that enhances gripping.
