The Brunner Rib Shear comes with a hook-shaped blade for convenient access to dissected structure.
Cuts through bones as well as tendons, sheaths and other fibrous structures.
Especially includes heavy blades to exert large force to cut through tough structures. The special hook blade allows the instrument to contort to the rib surface and stabilize it for clean dissection
Moreover, the blunt tips protect soft tissue from damage. The forceps also have smooth edges that prevent inadvertent soft tissue damage. The operating forceps have compound action joint to compliment the movement of the shear.
Has an ergonomic design for comfortable handling. The instrument also has ergonomic grip handles to achieve greater results with minimum effort. Includes reinforced handles which allow efficient force transmission.
In addition, the handles also have a round projection which acts as finger grip for secure hold.
The Brunner Rib Shear is available with an overall length of 24.5 cm which allows access to most bony tissues.
