The McDonald Periosteal Elevator offers multiple surgical advantages for orthopedic surgeons. These advantages are especially useful to perform osteotomies and fracture repairing surgeries.

For this purpose, the instrument comes with a double-ended design with two blades. Moreover, one of the blades has a curved outline with an eye, and the opposite is straight with a blunt edge. The eye on the curved blade is ideal for passing sutures if necessary while the surgeon elevates the periosteal membrane.

In addition, the device features a solid, square-shaped handle with horizontal ridges. This unique profile minimizes finger strain and helps in securing a strong grip.

All our McDonald Periosteal Elevators are available in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish.
