The Ligature Clip Applier is a scissor-like, hand-held instrument that provides multiple advantages. Its main purpose is to fit suture clips of all sizes and apply them into the desired blood vessel/organ.
For this purpose, the jaws feature unique angles for applying suture clips from all surgical approaches. Moreover, their size range from small to large, which helps to accommodate clips of different sizes. As a result, the Ligature Clip Applier assists in several surgical areas, ranging from ophthalmic to abdominal surgery.
In addition, the handle stems are long and serve to connect the boxlock to the finger rings. Also, a ratchet mechanism between the stems assists in self-locking the jaws, which results in more comfort for the operator.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
