The Nissen Bile Duct Clamp offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to assist surgeons during procedures that involve the gall bladder or the bile ducts.

For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of downwardly-curved jaws that ensure access behind the liver. In addition, the jaws have oblique serrations that not only enhance grasping but also minimize tissue trauma.

Moreover, the Nissen Bile Duct Clamp features a ratchet mechanism between the shafts, ensuring self-retaining clamping. Also, the boxlock system that attaches the jaws is ideal to perform smooth joint movements.
