The Gradle Cilia Forcep has multiple uses that allow surgeons to grasp, pull back and remove the cilia, most commonly known as eyelashes.
For this purpose, the instrument features smooth, curved jaws with blunt edges. Moreover, surgeons can clamp the eyelashes for preventing their projection into the scleral surface.
Besides, the device features solid, ridged handles with a cross-action mechanism controlled by a boxlock. This particular design permits automatic jaws opening, which provides comfort and prevents fatigue.
